Veena Lydia Lobo (Sr Vinisha), a Headmistress of St Gerosa High School, Jeppu, Mangalore presented her thesis on ‘Women in Diaspora’, A Study of Select Fiction by Kamila Shamsie’ under the guidance of Prof. Ravishankar and was awarded Ph.D. from Mangalore University.
